On the Field - Highlights from the Polo Academy Open Day
On Saturday, 19 September 2026, Al Habtoor Polo Club welcomed more than 100 guests for a memorable Polo Academy Open Day, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the sport, meet our horses and experience the Polo Academy first-hand.
Led by Head Coach Bernardo Bravo and the Academy team, the event brought together experienced riders, polo enthusiasts and first-time visitors for an afternoon filled with learning, activities and plenty of polo spirit.
Throughout the day, guests had the opportunity to:
- Meet the Academy Horses: Get up close to our horses and learn more about the important role they play in the sport.
- Enjoy Polo Demonstrations: Watch our instructors showcase their skills and demonstrate some of the fundamentals of polo.
- Discover the Polo Academy: Learn more about our programmes, lessons and opportunities available throughout the season.
- Experience Polo First-Hand: Take part in beginner-friendly activities and get a feel for what it is like to step onto the polo field.
The fantastic turnout and enthusiasm from our guests made the Open Day a truly special occasion. We would like to thank everyone who joined us, participated in the activities and shared in the experience.
We look forward to welcoming many of you back to Al Habtoor Polo Club and seeing you take what you learned onto the polo field!
