The AHPC League continues to grow year after year, establishing itself as a vital platform for our low-goal players to refine their skills, build confidence, and progress toward improving their handicap. With professional players riding alongside them, each match becomes a valuable learning experience — an opportunity to gain insight from some of the sport’s very best. This February edition certainly delivered on excitement and was made even more memorable with the return of Party at the Polo by IFZA for another vibrant season.

Turtles Team and VC Polo Team exploded into action from the very first throw-in, setting the tone for a thrilling, hard-fought contest. Simon Bentley got the Turtles on the scoreboard early in the opening chukker, leading the charge with sharp, confident play and excellent field control. Maintaining strong teamwork and relentless pressure throughout the match, the Turtles pushed ahead to secure a hard-earned victory — claiming the Subsidiary title with a narrow and exciting 7–6 finish.

The contest stayed razor-tight until the final moments, with both sides demonstrating determination, precision, and smart field strategy. Standout performances from Marcos Panelo and Liam Karger proved decisive, their chemistry and relentless drive giving Habtoor Polo the edge exactly when it mattered most. With cohesive play and a powerful finish, Habtoor Polo claimed the winning trophy, closing the match with a hard-earned 4–2.5 victory.
It was an action-packed Saturday Cup Final bursting with excitement for all! Families delighted in a range of fun kids’ activities, the ever-thrilling Gold Coin Hunt, and a vibrant awards ceremony that capped off the day. Maribelle, ridden by Liam Karger, was named Best Playing Pony, while Marcos Panelo earned the prestigious Most Valuable Player title. The winning and runner-up team trophies were proudly presented by Lukas Tremmel, General Manager of Al Habtoor Polo Resort.
